Stitch Fix Review 5 1

The mornings are chillier, the days are shorter and my 5th Stitch Fix box just arrived! Now that we are officially into fall, I asked my stylist to send some warm weather pieces. While I typically prefer monochromatic outfits, the zappo printed mixed material top is a refreshing change to the routine and I absolutely love it. Overall this was probably one of my favorite Stitch Fix boxes!

First of all, if you aren’t familiar with Stitch Fix, it is basically a personalized shopping experience delivered right to your front door. You start by filling out a style profile and then scheduling your delivery date. You pay a $20 styling fee, which will be applied as credit toward anything you keep from your shipment. Stitch Fix will send you 5 items of clothing or accessories (you can specify what you want and your price range). Once you receive your shipment, you can try on everything in the comfort of your home, decide what you want to keep and mail the rest back in a pre-paid envelope.

To get the most out of the Stitch Fix experience, the company encourages you to link a Pinterest board to your account so your Stylist can get a sense for your fashion inspiration.

Here is a review of my box:

  1. 41HAWTHORN Zappo Printed Mixed Material Top, S ($58) - I wasn’t sure about this top when I pulled it out of the box, but immediately fell in love with it once I put it on. The print has a fun bohemian feel without being overwhelming. It’s still in a conservative cut, but could add a fun new touch under a blazer.

  2. **LIVERPOOL Lianah Bootcut Jean, 26 **($78) - These are cut from a soft, stretch fabric. They are the perfect length so the hem hits right below the ankle (I’m 5’7”). I typically prefer a more casual and distressed wash, but I like the versatility of this dark denim because it can easily be dressed up or down. With a slightly higher waist (~1.5” below my belly button), they are very slimming and extremely comfortable.

  3. PIXLEY Greenich Striped Knit Top, S ($48) - Just about every woman I know owns a striped shirt, but this particular one is detailed with black leather elbow pads and leather trimming around the base. It’s a look that would suit any body type and is a great standard basic to have on hand.

  4. FUN2FUN Ellenia Mixed Print Top, S ($48) - A lightweight, boxy shirt with a slouchy fit. Would be good with a pair of skinny jeans, but I’m not a fan of the mixed prints. Also, the elastic band around the cap of the sleeve is uncomfortably tight.

  5. NYTT Hampshire Raglan Knit Top, S ($58) - I appreciate the casual feel of a baseball tee. I wanted to love this top but the fit wasn’t quite right. With broad shoulders this top was too snug across my chest.
